“Pacifique Irankunda is the author of The Tears of a Man Flow Inward. He was born in Burundi, a small country in East Africa. He received a scholarship to Deerfield Academy in Massachusetts and then studied at Williams College. He currently lives in New York where he is creating a living as a writer. He has won a Pushcart prize and a Whiting award for his writing. His first book was released in 2022.”
