Tina Lifford is a visionary thought leader in the field of Inner Fitness. As the strategist and architect behind The Inner Fitness Project, she brings deep wisdom, personal experience, and respect for the human condition that allows her to engage people in the process of internal transformation, healing, and resilience building.Tina empowers people to live well and thrive by:

− Leveraging Diverse Modalities to Facilitate Well-being – Leveraging the physical fitness mindset, Tina uses a variety of modalities to address how we view and care for ourselves. Mindfulness, meditation, communication, goal setting, pattern interruption, and personal accountability all play a part in changing the lens through which we view ourselves, and empower our ability to create new mental patterns, and reduce stress and and the impact of trauma.

In her current role as CEO of The Inner Fitness Project, Tina trains and coaches individuals and teams from all walks of life to build mental, emotional, and spiritual resilience. She developed this coaching methodology based on neuroscience research to enable people to navigate inner challenges and cultivate a healthy sense of self. Over the last 15 years, Tina partnered with organizations such as Unilever, GlaxoSmithKline, Disney, Kellogg School of Management, and The Smithsonian Institute, to provide coaching, workshops, and interactive experiences that fostered ownership, accountability, and relevance in the workplace.


Throughout her career as an actress, Tina has starred opposite Hollywood greats including ClintEastwood, Jennifer Lopez, and Bruce Willis. She recently finished shooting the final season of the critically acclaimed television series, Queen Sugar, where she portrayed Aunt Vi. On the other side of the camera, Tina wrote a play featuring 7 diverse women who navigate life together – The Circle. She is also the award-winning author of The Little Book of Big Lies: A Journey into Inner Fitness.


Tina completed a Master’s Program in Spiritual Psychology from USM. She graduated from the Coaches Training Institute as a licensed Spiritual Practitioner.
