Deborah Roberts
Deborah Roberts is the co-anchor of the venerable ABC News newsmagazine 20/20 and an award-winning senior national affairs correspondent for ABC News. A respected media veteran, Roberts has traveled the world covering major national and international stories. She also serves as a substitute anchor on Good Morning America and is a frequent guest co-host on The View.
Her in-depth reporting has earned widespread recognition, including a Peabody Award for the 20/20 special “Say Her Name: Breonna Taylor.” Roberts has also received multiple Emmy® Awards for her international and national coverage of global issues, including the AIDS crisis in Africa and maternal mortality in Bangladesh.
Roberts is the author of the New York Times bestseller Lessons Learned and Cherished: The Teacher Who Changed My Life and her newly released book, Sisters Loved and Treasured: Stories of Unbreakable Bonds, which explores the enduring power of sisterhood. She lives in New York City with her husband, and they have two children.
